Engineers Housing Scheme

Engineers' Valley is a project comprising of 1660 kanals of land in the first phase. The scheme is only for engineers,  executive working in Grade-17 & above in Government, Semi Government, Autonomous bodies and equivalent position in private and business sector. Engineers' Housing Scheme has taken up the task to solve the housing problems of professional Engineers and Executive class by bringing close the like-minded people having similar taste and thinking to live in a society especially designed and tailored for them.

EHS Updates:-

CDA Board has approved the final NOC of Sector D-16/17 of Engineers' Housing Scheme.

The construction of model house in the scheme area is completed upto Grey Structure.

The design of multi storey apartments has been completed.

The engineering design have been approved by CDA.

The development works have been started.

Location:

The Scheme is situated on G.T. Road, 2 ½  kms after Tarnol Crossing towards Peshawar and located in Sector D-16/17, Zone-2 of Islamabad, under Islamabad Territory Zoning Regulation 1992. The proposed site is located upstream of Sandemar Dam and is adjacent to Cabinet Division Co-operative Housing Society Sector E-16 and is in close vicinity of Margalla View Housing Scheme, R.P. Corporation and Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society.

Residential Plots:

Total residential plots are 706. The sizes of the plots are as under.

500 sq. yards: 50'x90'.
Total Plots: 396 plots.

356 sq. yards: 40'x80'.
Total Plots: 104 plots.

311 sq. yards: 35'x80'.
Total Plots: 42 plots.

272 sq. yards: 35'x70'.
Total Plots: 101 plots.

217 sq. yards:30'x65'.
Total Plots: 41 plots.

207 sq. yards: 30'x62'.
Total Plots: 22 plots.

Commercial Center and Markaz:

Total commercial plots are 80. These shall be sold through auction and members shall be intimated well before time for participation. However some commercial plots of similar design shall be offered to the members on declared price on EHS terms & conditions.

Apartments and Houses:

In order to facilitate our members, the management has planned to construct 50 houses in the scheme area. The model house shall be constructed in project area within the next few months. The necessary design shall be made available to the interested members on request. 53 kanals of land has also been earmarked for construction of multi storey apartments, reflecting the distinct architectural ingenuity in maximizing space utilization. The details and actual design shall be communicated separately through brochure & website. Members have the option of converting their plots into constructed Houses/Apartments.

Planning & Development:

Engineers' Housing Scheme is being planned & developed by a team of competent Engineers having sound integrity and relevant experience in the development of Housing Schemes. Being in the sectorial set up of Islamabad, this scheme is distinguished from other schemes as it would be developed strictly in accordance to the standards laid down in CDA rules (Modalities & Procedures, framed by CDA for development of housing schemes under Zoning Regulations 1992 for housing colony's development), presently in force and can be seen in the developed areas of Islamabad.

Roads:

The minimum width of roads is 40ft whereas the Sector / Block Link Road is 60ft and the main Boulevard is as per CDA rules. All roads will be carpeted with premix bituminous mixes and would meet the highest quality standards of road construction.

Water Supply:

Water supply system is being established according to the Engineering Specifications & Standards to provide good quality of water in sufficient quantity at adequate pressure to each house. The water to the scheme will be supplied from Shahpur Dam and Sandemar Dam. The necessary infra-structure would be provided for this purpose.

Drainage & Sewerage System:

The system would meet the latest standards of designing and construction will be trouble-free and would require very less care during operation.

Electricty:

Underground Electric Power Supply would be made available by the scheme for all residential and commercial plots. Street light system would also be developed. Appropriate area has been earmarked for ancillary facilities.

Sui Gas, Telephone, Post Office:

Space for the necessary infra-structure such as Sui Gas, Telephone, Post-office & Bank will be provided in the scheme. The management of scheme will also help the members in getting Gas & Telephone connections.
