This is a five star hotel, 600 rooms Hotel with a total built up area of 70,000 sq. meters. The structure comprises of 29 floors above Ground Level and 4 car parking basements. RCC Framing (RCC Columns, flat slabs with drop panels) support the gravity loads while Shear Walls resist Lateral Loads. The foundation comprises of a Piled Raft. RCC Outriggers were incorporated on the 5th (equipment) Floor and 29th Floor (Roof) in order to reduce overturning moments and storey drift. Significant torsional effects needed to be addressed in the three dimensional analysis of the structure.
