Margalla Hills

Margalla, “Killing”, as the name suggests, and why not, the hilly beauty with all its grace, greenery and splendor is located amidst the Margalla Hills National Park. Let us have a bird’s eye view.

Rock climbing, paragliding, hang gliding, etc all this can be embraced if one is planning to go at place not less than a paradise like this hill naturally giving a salon like body massage only by absorbing and then emitting green images through eyes.

Capturing sunrise is easy, but property deals are on the decline with every passing day due to negligence of the government perhaps, or the authorities which need to focus on the building up rather than phasing out the property. Though rental property at the base of Margalla Hills has serenity which is extremely appeasing.  The luxury apartments boost and beautify the panoramic view of the Hills.  Viewership/purchasing/rental can only be taken at its peak once nominal installments options are given to the consumers.

 Last year, a very good initiative was taken by the students from different universities who picked up litter by walking on the trail so the visitors coming there should also avoid polluting the mountains or else a close eye should be kept and people should be fined for polluting the park/hills.

Art exhibition of the picturesque Hills can be exuberating for the market value. 

There is an illustrative village life hidden in the Margalla Hills. Not paints and brushes can fill in the entire glaze created by the magic spell of the photography done by heart teemed with the JOY of Dancing Daffodils in Wordsworth’s poetry. Camping, not at all a bad idea, in those marvelous hills and then capturing moments of rising/setting of the sun glorifies the soul within. Preparing an album for the images is also a good option and can be kept for tourists’ attraction.

Chirping birds, clean and clear environment is the greatest blessing.  The capital city in its true fundamental nature depicts Pakistan’s culture and heritage with all the richness embedded in Islamabad Hills.  

Though there have been quite a few incidents which created a bad impact. The diminishing of the greenery and the woods has brutally tarnished the business all over. But for buyers it is a good option though; why not make the dream land greener, lush, thriving, luxuriant and plentiful in all its brighter aspects.

More campaigns, if undertaken for wildlife reservation, for the renewal and look after of the property around the hills, improving fire lines along with creating new facilities for the visitors. If, with the improvement done, it will become a site of paramount importance for picnic goers, family and school trips as well.

Though the use of explosives and stone crushing over the hills has been restricted, efforts are also underway to reform existing power system by conserving it through indigenous resources such as coal and hydral energy, thus way promoting world class efficiency in power generation. Endangered Flora and Fauna of the hills if saved from extinction can preserve the Go Green strategy. Though the construction work is eating away the whole habitat, so it needs to be done a few miles or kilometers away to curtail the rising pressure to ecosystem.

Accelerating the approach towards betterment, hills having charming eyes , swaying  leaves , curled vines, dancing flowers imagine yourself quirking and jumping like” Alice in  Wonderland “ , if not then there is nothing better than being yourself in such places, enjoying solitude at times , soul searching and blissful experience .

Not having any work pressure, cruel traffic signals to time stopping seconds in the mountains echoing “Main aur meri tanhai aksar yeh baaein kerte hain”, true reminiscent of the unending love for nature revealing the mysteries of one’s own self.

Giddy up for the refreshing, ravishing, enticing ride into bubbly trails setting yourself free of all the shackles of monotony, letting oneself into the supple hands of Mother Nature to view the mythical landscape becoming a knight riding a horse in the Margalla Hills or be a sleeping beauty nestling in the tranquility.  (For men, they can come and wake her up).
