Mission: “Gwadar deep sea port is the second great monument of Pakistan -China friendship after the Karakorma Highway linking Pakistan and China. The foundation stone of the port was laid by the Chinese vice-premier Wu Bangguo in March 2002.
With the completion of the first phase of the port, Gwadar, a small fishing village has become one of the most important towns of region and is poised to become one of the most important and modern cities of the Middle East, West Asia and the South Asia.
Gwadar port will become gateway port for Pakistan and the region and a world –class maritime hub. Gwadar Port is to Complement Karachi Port and Port Qasim in order to stimulate economic growth of Pakistan and in particular Balochistan utilizing the available resources of the country and also providing an outlet for land locked Central Asian Countries western China and Afghanistan through transit trade and offering transshipment facilities .

The essence of the design composition was to bring a formal order of planning onto the site. This was achieved by the integration of various types of planning systems that enabled maximum utility of the spatial field. The result is a quadripartite composition, where a commercial cruciform axis of bifurcation, based on the cardinal points subdivided the scheme into four residential quadrants.
These circulation axes serve as the two primary and secondary circulation avenues that intersect at the central business and commercial core from where each quadrant is accessible via diagonally diverging vectors that culminate in focal voids serving as green spaces for each residential quarter.
On this commercial radial circulation network is also a superimposed gridiron residential street layout that enables maximum utility of the spatial field resulting in an enticing master plan in terms of an experiential projectile.

CIVIC CENTRE:
Ocean City includes a civic centre, an elegant epitome of the modern-day design, and sociable living.
JAMIA MOSQUE:
A mosque is a humble way for man to recreate a pure and divine presence on earth. A very elegant and spacious mosque is planned to be built at the Ocean City.
CENTRAL COMMERCIAL AVENUE:
Given the due importance, potential and demand, an ideally located central commercial area has been planned for offices and shopping plazas. This will cater to the shopping needs of the residents.
HOSPITALS:
In each zone, a plot measuring average 0.646 acres has been provided for Health Clinics. In addition, a well equipped hospital is to be constructed, for which 5 acres of land has been allocated.
SCHOOL AND COLLEGE:
At the Ocean City, we ensure quality education for our children. In each neighborhood a one acre plot has been specified for primary school, these will be utilized for education upto primary level. Two plots each measuring average 1.45 acres has been allocated for Higher Secondary standard. A plot spanning 2.87 acres has been exclusively reserved for college/university.
PARKS, PLAYGROUNDS AND GREEN BELTS:
The stunning modern housing scheme of Ocean City is a combination of landscaped gardens. All major avenues will be provided with Palm trees, in addition to beautifully planned gardens, parks, playgrounds and open spaces.
