Another reason is that many educated families are residing here, so people prefer to live in Soan Garden. The rates of residential and commercial property in Soan Garden have increased a lot during the last four years. Currently a residential plot costs almost 5 to 8 lac per marla, while a commercial plot costs around 15 to 30 lac per marla. There are also residential and commercial plots available of 8, 10 and 5 marla or 1, 2 and 3 kanal.

The main reason is that after developing a sector or a housing society, CDA hands it over to private companies or firms and these companies collaborate with tanker mafia to create fake shortage of water in order to earn money by supplying water through water tankers.
