Mr Bilal Shahid of Arch Lattice started his career in 1991 under supervision of his father Mr Ch Siddique Shami of Shami Builders & Associates. Later on in 1992 he went to USA for further studies and came back to Pakistan in 1998 & re-started the profession He worked for a private firm in Lahore In year 2000 He moved to Faisalabad and started his own office at D Ground The specialities of the Arch Lattice consultants are Architectural work (Interior Designing), Turn Key projects and Evaluation for the Financial Institutions.
In a detailed discussion Mr Bilal Shahid told that to start designing a home is the name of Architecture and management of spacing. It describes the division and allocation of rooms, planning of houses or commercial plaza. Architecture studies the details and drawing that starts from excavation. During the initial meeting with the client the requirements are taken, plans are made and are finalized by 3D view and Visual perspective Views where the set of 30 – 35 working drawing details are made taking into strict consideration the HAVC procedures, construction parameters, foundation Logs, electrification and steel fixtures and all other things related to the drawing.

The Interior work consists of design of floor and ceiling, structure of the material, interior design of the bath and kitchen, selection of the curtains, lights, paintings, design and the placement of the furniture. Then comes the Supervision – what we design or concepts or the set of drawings given to the client; all these are supervised as to make sure that these are in accordance with the drawing provided. Meetings are arranged with the contractor as without supervision the exact form cannot be acquired from the drawing work. 3D View / work consists of the pictures of elevation, walls, rooms, washroom plans, vanity, counter bason, bottle basin, glass etc. The single lines of a 2D drawing when converted to 3D give the Picture according to the drawing and color after which comes the color scheme e.g., color to be used in the tiles, elevation etc. In 3D view the lines are built actually to show the client the actual build of the house. Before 2000, hand work, perspective work with fresh color pencils were in use but for the last 15 years 3D modeling / visual effects / views program used in 3D Max has replaced all these.
