Rafi Plaza was the company’s first foray into real estate development and its success would be a symbol of great things to come. In the 1970’s, as it is today, Hall road was Pakistan’s largest electronics market. However the infrastructure of shops was more akin to a fish market with its tiny closely packed stalls and congested streets. For the average shopper a journey to Hall Road was more like an expedition then a casual shopping trip. Rafi Plaza Changed all that, Located at the mouth of Hall road it offered, large spacious shops for traders to display their wares and easy accessibility for customers all under one roof. Rafi Plaza set the trend for which all development since then followed.
